Cochin – Munnar
Arrival at Cochin. Then, we will proceed to Munnar. Munnar, the famed hill station of South India, is a romantic spot enveloped in natural beauty. Situated about 1600m above sea level, this hill station had been the summer resort of the British Government during the Colonial Era. On the way, we will visit the Valara and Cheyyappara Waterfalls. In the afternoon, we will visit Rajamala- the house of the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Thars. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Munnar:
After breakfast visit to Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake.After noon visit Tea museum and Blossom Garden. Evening time for a bit of shopping. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar – Kumarakam
The morning after breakfast, we will proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is formed with a cluster of Small Island located along the picturesque bank of the Vembanad Lake, which is famous for its outstanding backwater cruise and exotic Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Kumarakam.
Kumarakom – Alleppey
After breakfast, we will proceed to Alleppey. At 12:30 hours, check in or onboard the houseboat, for a memorable time on the Kerala backwaters. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure on board, enjoying the panoramic view of the vast stretches of the paddy fields and the exotic natural surroundings of the villages. Breakfast, lunch, evening tea & coffee with snacks and dinner will be provided on the houseboat, prepared by accomplished chefs. Overnight stay on the Houseboat.
Alleppey- Cochin: After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin airport/ railway station for your onward journey or back home with everlasting memories.
